After checking weather apps, the police find it rained a day ago in Al Jabal. The police see the threat video again and Kabir feels there's a backdrop of rain to it. She gives his description to the police artist to draw - while trying to flirt with Kabir. In the police department, Ishika is interrogated but she says she's only a thief and picked the phone from a stranger's pocket in a store. Qureishi who's seen his pictures on a matrimonial website and keeps telling him how no-one in his clan likes him! Junaid also manages to find his top boss' missing dog, Bradman, and drops him to the house, putting a GPS collar on him. They rush to the ghetto where it's been tracked and as Junaid opens his car door, he knocks out Ishika (Jacqueine Fernandez), a girl running from the scene, accused of having stolen Viraj's phone. Suddenly, the duo gets to hear that Viraj's phone has been found. The duo go to Sameer's pool party where he flirts with them and makes them strip to their 'shots' for info - but Sameer had only met Viraj in the lobby and taken a selfie with him. As Kabir calms his anger down in front of Khabri on hearing about his ex, he is told to meet Sameer (Akshay Kumar), a local party animal who doesn't like girls and who also met Viraj the night he went missing. Junaid takes Kabir to meet 'Khabri chacha' (Vijay Raaz) who knows everyone's secrets including Kabir's. She invited him for a drive and then to her friend's birthday party - from where he exited and didn't see her again. Sam says she met Viraj in his hotel porch and he liked her fancy car. Sam emerges from a pool in a bikini and has Junaid flat while Kabir interrogates her. The duo sees CCTV footage of Viraj having last spoken to a mysterious girl, Sam (Nargis Fakhri), and they go to meet her. Kabir likes his language and location skills and Junaid is thrilled to be assisting Kabir - but astonished to see Kabir's angry nature with him breaking his car music system, etc. He later meets Sayeed's senior and very junior officer Junaid (Varun Dhawan), who is given small tasks like buying vegetables and finding his boss' runaway dog. Kabir flies to the Middle East and meets officer Sayeed but refuses to go to the police department first, instead forcing Sayeed at gun-point to take him to Viraj's hotel room where he investigates. The minister decides to send in Kabir (John Abraham), India's top cop, who has just discovered his girlfriend is cheating on him and is even angrier than before. The fan says if the match is called off, he will kill Viraj. Just then, she receives an email video of a man saying he's a Pakistani fan and has captured Viraj, whom he's masked and tied to a chair in the room. He informs the cricket board and the minister for external affairs who says the team should return and the final be called off. However, Viraj's coach finds him missing from the hotel later on with his phone switched off too. India will now play Pakistan a day later. But Viraj goes indoors, bangs his arm against the wall and fixes his problem, coming out to bat and win the match. Viraj's is India's cricket star and the crowd despairs when he suddenly gets a frozen shoulder. The film cuts to one day ago when Viraj is batting for India against Sri Lanka in a tournament semi-final. The film opens with a police search in a dusty room where officer Sayeed (Tarun Khanna) only finds an empty jacket and tells his senior that missing Indian cricketer Viraj (Saqib Saleem) is not there.
